A Straightforward Commercial Partner

Commercial work starts with the prints. We meet the general contractor or owner on site, walk the job, and review the plans together before we ever price the project. Questions on the drawings get consulted with the engineer, not guessed at.

Once the contract is signed we typically set up GFCI-protected temporary power for the site, then run our rough and finish phases on your schedule. The crew is our own: trained, certified technicians in company trucks, led by an owner with more than 30 years in the trade.

How We Run a Commercial Job

Walk and Review

We meet the GC or owner on site, walk the job, and review the prints together. Anything unclear on the drawings goes to the engineer before it goes into the bid.

Bid and Contract

You get a clear bid based on what is actually on the plans. No padding, no surprise exclusions buried in the fine print.

Temp Power and Rough-In

GFCI-protected temporary power goes up for the site, then rough-in runs on your schedule and passes inspection the first time.

Finish and Turnover

Finish, testing, and a clean turnover. We hot check the work before the job closes so the punch list stays short.

Where Commercial Meets Residential

Builders and GCs also bring us in on the residential side. Our new construction wiring covers houses from print to hot check, and service upgrades handle the change outs that come with renovations and tenant turnovers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Amplified Electric technician at work
01 Do you work with general contractors and builders?

Yes, regularly. We price from the prints, meet you or the owner on site, and consult the engineer on anything the plans leave open. Once the contract is signed we keep our phases on your schedule.

02 What size commercial projects do you take on?

Small to medium commercial projects: new builds, upfits, and service work. Our North Carolina license carries an unlimited classification, so license limits are not a constraint on project size.

03 Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a COI for your records before work begins.

04 Do you set up temporary power for job sites?

Yes. Once a project is under contract we typically set up GFCI-protected temporary power for the site so the other trades can work safely.

05 Who do we deal with during the project?

Patrick. You get a direct line to the owner, and the crew on site is our own trained and certified technicians, not subcontractors.
