Recessed LED Lighting
Clean, low-profile light for kitchens, living rooms, and finished spaces. We can add recessed LED to most existing ceilings, working through the attic where possible to keep patching to a minimum. Spacing is what separates a good recessed layout from a bad one. Cans set too far apart leave scallops of shadow between them, and too close reads like an office. We lay the pattern out against the room dimensions and where the furniture actually sits.
Under-Cabinet Lighting
One of our favorite upgrades for the money. Great under-cabinet options exist now that light the counter without glare, and we wire them so they switch the way you cook. We run the wiring inside the cabinet so no cord shows, and we put the switch where your hand already goes when you walk in. Warm white strips flatter a wood or stone counter, cooler ones suit a white kitchen better, and we will show you the difference before we commit.
Custom Fixtures and Ceiling Fans
From dining room fixtures to ceiling fans in rooms that never had a ceiling box, we mount and support them properly and put them on the right switch or dimmer. Older ceiling boxes were never rated to carry a fan, so if you want one where a light used to hang, we install a fan rated brace that ties into the joists. That is the difference between a fan that runs quiet for years and one that wobbles.
Exterior and Security Lighting
Entries, driveways, and yards, including motion and security lighting. Wired for the weather, switched sensibly, and aimed where it helps. Outdoor fixtures live in weather, so we use gaskets and in-use covers rated for wet locations and seal every penetration in the siding. Motion sensors get aimed away from the road so passing cars do not trip the light all night.
LED Upgrades
We swap dated or failing fixtures for efficient LED throughout the house. It changes how rooms feel and shows up on the power bill. Dimming is the piece people forget on an LED swap. Not every fixture and dimmer pair well, and a mismatch shows up as flicker or a narrow dimming range, so we match the driver to the control.
